So this isn't a post proper, but before too many cobwebs take up space here (although fake ones, ARE lovely...) I'm breezing by to give a mini update. Let's do it by the numbers, shall we?
In the past 3 months, the number of times I've:
Become an AUNTIE: 1
Looked at house contracts: 2
Giggled over something my editor wrote on the page edits for book two: 12
Replied to emails: 50
Ignored my FaceBook inbox: 20
Pushed the refresh button on my inbox: 1,2222 (ok, guessing on that one)
Told Caroline B. Cooney that I was her official Fan Girl: 1
Went to a Secondhand Serenade concert: 2
Told Evan Taubenfeld that he needed to buy my book: 1
Replied to handwritten letters: 2
Sent out Get the Goods envelopes: 150
Looked at pictures for my new perfumes: 8
Opened up the Word document for New Project*: 17
Hours spent in car going to PA, NY, PA, OK, PA, and TN: 40+
Had a QT friend get a book deal: 1
Met a QT friend at a conference: 1
Had a QT friend get an agent: 1
Wore a ridiculous grin on my face all day due to a lovely note from a fan: 20
Vowed to get through my 500+ email inbox: 90
Eaten delicious home made caramel apples: 3
Partied in Vegas for a book release: 1
Been on a paranormal investigation: 1
Looked into the backseat of a car at a junkyard: 8
Now I'm off to NCTE/ALAN this weekend. More updates when I can catch my breath!
*P.S. - That car above? The one at the top? That's part of the New Project. SO.MUCH.FUN.
